Why should you join EEYP projects?
The EEYP projects improve several aspects of not only the skills of the delegates and Chairs but they also help to shape their personality. In general the projects teach how civic society works and show how a big democracy functions as well as the importance of negotiation and understanding. Due to the fact that the projects connect students from 10 countries it is natural that there are many historical, cultural and mental differences the delegates have to overcome as they represent their own national interests and priorities. The cultural variety allows mutual inspiration and sharing of ideas and solutions applied and functioning elsewhere. The projects also dramatically improve the English language skills and communication, debating and negotiation in general. The delegates learn how to deliver a speech and how to speak in front of an audience. Another crucial skill required in the participation is application of critical thinking, creativity and researching. EEYP projects help the employability of its delegates, which is of enormous importance taking into account the current unemployment and lack of experience of youth in Europe.
